How to Update Your E6 Golf Software to Version 1.5

How to Update Your E6 Golf Software to Version 1.5

The new E6 Golf version 1.5 requires all course files to be updated.  If you are running version 1.2 or 1.3, then this will require you to download almost 10GB of software, which may take a few hours depending on your internet connection.  The good news is that you only need to this once - even if you own multiple simulators.  Once your E6 software and all course files are updated to version 1.5, then future updates will be relatively small.

IMPORTANT: If you have more than one simulator, it is highly recommended that you get a 16GB (or larger) USB drive.  Then you can simply download all the files below, copy them to the USB drive, then transfer them to each simulator computer.

Follow these steps to update or install the E6 Golf software:

STEP 1: Check your current E6 version. If you need help doing this, see this article.

STEP 2: If your version number starts with 1.2 or 1.3 then please download the files below and contact support@fullswinggolf.com for assistance with the upgrade. If your current version number starts with 1.5, then you should already have the course files loaded and you only need to make sure you have the latest "Core" version of E6.

STEP 3: On your simulator computer, download the following files:

NOTE: Due to the large file size, please only download two updates at a time.

NOTE: If you have more than one simulator, copy these files to a 16GB (or larger) USB drive to speed up the installation process.

STEP 4: Run each installer file by double-clicking on it.  It is best to start with the E6 "Core" update file, then reboot the computer when prompted and continue installing all the course pack updates.

NOTE: You may be prompted to install the "Ion Camera" driver, if you do not have an Ion Camera, please select No.  For more information about the Ion Performance Camera, please contact upgrades@fullswinggolf.com

STEP 5: Run E6 Golf to test the new update.
